Our Mission: The Chain Restaurant Compensation Association (CRCA) was established in 1976. It is a professional organization dedicated to strengthening and enhancing the compensation and benefits function within the restaurant industry. This goal is achieved by educating and training representatives of CRCA member companies and broadening the compensation and benefits information base available to restaurant industry professionals.
 


 

CRCA currently has a membership of over ninety-five companies representing approximately one hundred twenty-five restaurant concepts within the industry. A partial list of member companies includes:

  • Cracker Barrel
  • Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc.
  • Fazoli's
  • Rare Hospitality Intl. Inc.
  • White Castle

HAY Group Partnership
The Chain Restaurant Compensation Association works in partnership with Hay Group Services to provide industry specific compensation information for the association’s members. The association’s members require comprehensive compensation information from their direct competitors on unique positions to support the effective management of pay for both corporate and field positions. While compensation information needs to be timely and accurate, confidentiality is key. CRCA and Hay have worked together to create a tailored annual report for the association. The report contains the compensation elements required for that given year, and every second year contains benefits and total remuneration analyses. In addition, Hay Group attends the CRCA Annual conference to present results and conduct annual spot surveys, such as performance management of restaurant managers.
